The Do's & Don'ts For Summer Botox

It's the time of year when we want to look and feel as confident as possible. Olivia Cole is focused on helping empower women through self-improvement.

Here at Olivia Cole, we find the summer months increasingly busy providing Botulinum Toxin / Botox injections. It is a myth that you can't have toxins injections in the summer. There is no need to avoid the sunshine when you have Botox. You should always use SPF and stay in the shade immediately after your appointments, but avoiding the sun is unnecessary. You need to give yourself 24 hours of downtime, so no alcohol or strenuous exercise.

Those squint lines that we all seem to get in the glaring sunshine can be helped with targeted toxin injections. However, we still recommend wearing sunglasses to protect your eyes.

If excessive sweating concerns you, Botox can be a game-changer. Research has shown that Botox injections can effectively reduce sweating by blocking the nerve signals responsible for sweat production.

Nicole O'Grady, Founder of Olivia Cole, comments,

'It is a really busy time in the summer months as people come into the clinic to look their best when they go on holiday. Many people pop in for a top-up and head away looking well-rested and refreshed. The most popular treatments for the summer months are Botox, skin boosters and PMU brows.'
